Best little spot in the wilderness you'll ever find. Live music and half price beer and appetizers on Thursdays. It's a down home kind of place where the friendly owners are very involved. You would be missing out you didn't stop in.
I DJ a wedding there, get hit in the face by some guy, tell the owner to kick him out, so he tells me to leave because the guy was his friend... Other than that, decent place with a nice view. Just another day in Elliot Lake.
Visited Dunlop Lake Lodge for lunch with my brother and his wife who were visiting me. We sat outside on the patio terrace. The view was beautiful. The salads served were nice and crisp with the dressings served on the side. The French Onion soup that I ordered was excellent. Will definitely be back.
Every time I visit my parents, I go to Dunlop Lodge on the Thursday for jam night. Great food, nice staff and just a timeless place. Highly recommended.
The room in the lodge was cute and clean. Hotel is pet friendly which is great however the large dog in the room across the hall was left alone until 2 am so no one got any sleep until then.
