An absolutely great place for young professionals, retired couples or anyone in between! The Birchwood Terrace Apartment Building is the premier rental building Elliot Lake --- and with that comes a great place, with great people and backed by a great staff. I can't thank the office staff enough for their super-friendly vibes. Defiantly a must visit for rental units in ELake! )
One of the more expensive apartments in the area, one of the biggest draws is it being a "quiet" building. Unfortunately, management does nothing when people aren't quiet, as we've experienced a particularly noisy upstairs neighbor blasting their music, TV, whatever. So don't be fooled into thinking the quiet part is in any way going to be upheld. The walls and floors are just too thin.Also, took about 2 months to fix the 1960's era radiator heating (which is turned on and off with a makeshift "wrench" by turning the valves on the radiator). If noise isn't a problem for you and your joints can take the abuse of crawling on the floor to turn the heat on and off, and you don't mind the price... I guess it's not so bad. Not worth the money, IMO.
