Our grandkids love the Carnival Cones. I take them for their birthdays and a summer treat. They have Banana Splits too. Don't see those much anymore.
Counter person couldn't take a order properly. Asked me if I wanted a double burger and ended up getting a hot dog. The fries were burnt. Onion rings were good.
Chip stand food in the middle of winter? Yes please. Amazing poutine and ice cream. also have a great breakfast!!
The Sugar Shack has a great variety of food, sweets, and ice cream. That being said, the management needs work. Significantly. The hired personnel are understaffed and untrained. Drive-thru takes significantly longer than going inside; which also takes a long time. There's usually only 1 or 2 people working at once, which means they must prepare the food as well as take the payment. That takes time. Training for both store personnel and management will turn this place around.
I like the poutine here but thats about the only thing I've purchased from here. I also like the Screamers, which is a slushy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. I would recommend this place for families and maybe taking your significant other on a date.
